Jock Athletic Takes a Clean Sweep at Rescue 2018

4th December 2018

Our Masters Team from Wanda SLSC are relentless. We keep the local Physio's and massage therapists in business, but manage to make most big carnivals. It's a great effort given all of them having kids, businesses, work etc. The Masters competition is a great way to stay fit and not overweight, be great role models for our kids and athletes, have great fun and also to pretend we can all still play sport well. Great effort team, only one gold medal, which was a great run by our super Mum's, but we did get planty of bling as well! Results below:

1st - Mothers Relay (Meg, Greer, Loz)

2nd - Tait Brannock (old mans 2km), Jock Campbell (older mans 2km)

3rd - Peter Hadfield (very old mans beach sprint), Donna Cox (fast women's 2km), DJ (grey haired mens 2km)

Special Mentions to finalists and great efforts - Dee McHarthy, Zane Campbell and Meggsey

Please note that the above age divisions have age groups attached to them, but Jock being Jock has added his own explanation for effect

2km Individual

On the 27th of November we crowned 2 new World Champs in the Youth 2km Beach Run

All our runners did great and have worked so hard, we are so proud of them all ! Our other results saw:
