About Jock Campbell

Jock Campbell is a leading expert on athlete high performance.

Since 1987, Jock has been perfecting and implementing the science and practicalities of performance - through university and industry qualifications, to training elite athletes in many different sports and performing in high level sport himself. He now transfers this knowledge and experience to Olympic athletes, national sporting teams and the general population.

From November 2000 until November 2005 Jock was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach/ Physical Performance Manager for the Australian Cricket Team. During this period the Team was World Champions in both Test Match (No. 1 in Test rankings) and One Day Cricket (World Cup winners 2003 and No.1 in World rankings); it was the most successful period in the teams history. This culminated in the Team being voted Number One team in the World, (in any sport) at the Prestigous Loreus Awards in 2003. During the 2004/05 Season the Team also had its lowest percentage of injuries in recorded history!

Jock has been training and coaching surf lifesaving athletes for the past 20 years and his athletes have won several gold medals at State, National and World Titles.

He has also worked with the NSW Cricket Team, Olympic athletes and gold medal performers in athletics, soccer (football), swimming, rugby league, rugby union, wrestling, gladiators, karate, boxing and netball.

To keep up with all the program requests from fast bowlers around Australia and the world, Jock has now co-founded BOWLFIT with Mitchell Johnson, to give all players unprecedented access to his expertise. What was once reserved for players of State and National levels, Jock now makes available for any player who wants to push him or herself to reach new levels of high performance. Jock currently trains over 50 cricketers from 14 year olds through to Internationals over many countries using the BOWLFIT programs through Jock Athletic.
